I'm Joanna and photography is my life

I grew up with photography.

My father was a photographer, and he was the first person to teach me that photography is more than simply taking a picture. Over the years, I continued learning from incredible professionals in the industry, refining not only my craft, but also what I believe a meaningful portrait should be.

I believe in emotion over perfection, and quality over quantity.

I would rather create a handful of thoughtful, beautiful portraits that mean something to you than give you hundreds of photographs that disappear into a camera roll.

Because while digital files are wonderful, I don’t believe your family’s story belongs buried somewhere between thousands of phone photos, recipe screenshots and pictures of your child’s homework.

Portraits are meant to be lived with.

Framed on the walls you walk past every morning. Kept in an album your children can pull from the shelf. Held in your hands years from now, when the little faces in those photographs aren’t so little anymore.

That’s what I want to create for your family.

Not simply more pictures.

A small collection of photographs worth keeping.
